Vaccination Protocols

Puppy Vaccine Protocol

Puppies in good health should have their first boosters at 6-8 weeks of age, followed by 2 boosters 3-4 weeks apart.

We recommend the following vaccine schedule:

FIRST BOOSTERS (6-7 WEEKS OF AGE)

  • DA2PPL #1 (Distemper/Hepatitis/Parainfluenza/Parvo/Lepto)

  • Canine Cough Oral Vaccine (Bordetella)

 

SECOND BOOSTERS (9-10 WEEKS OF AGE)

  • DA2PPL #2 (Distemper/Hepatitis/Parainfluenza/Parvo/Lepto)

  • Lyme Vaccine #1

  • K9 Influenza Vaccine #1

THIRD BOOSTERS (12-13 WEEKS OF AGE)

  • DA2PPL #3 (Distemper/Hepatitis/Parainfluenza/Parvo/Lepto)

  • Lyme Vaccine #2

  • K9 Influenza Vaccine #2

  • Rabies 1 year Vaccine *MUST BE 12 WEEKS OF AGE

YOUNG ADULT  (12-15 MONTHS Of AGE)

  • DA2PPL 1 year (Distemper/Hepatitis/Parainfluenza/Parvo/Lepto)

  • Canine Cough Oral Vaccine (Bordetella)

  • Lyme Vaccine (yearly)

  • K9 Influenza Vaccine (yearly)

  • Rabies 3 year Vaccine

  • Heartworm/Tickborne Disease Screening

  • Intestinal Parasite Evaluation

ADULT (24 months and up)

  • DAPP 3year (Distemper/Hepatitis/Parainfluenza/Parvo)

  • Canine Cough Oral Vaccine (Bordetella)

  • Lyme Vaccine (yearly)

  • Lepto Vaccine (yearly)

  • K9 Influenza Vaccine (yearly)

  • Heartworm/Tickborne Disease Screening (yearly)

  • Intestinal Parasite Evaluation

MATURE/AGING DOGS: 

  • Rabies 3 yr Vaccine

  • Canine Cough Oral Vaccine (Bordetella)

  • Heartworm/Tickborne Disease Screening

  • Intestinal Parasite Evaluation

  • Senior Bloodwork (optional)

  • Other vaccines to be decided by veterinarian and owner.

Kitten Vaccine Protocol

Kittens in good health should have their first boosters at 9 weeks of age, followed by another booster in 3-4 weeks.

We recommend following vaccine schedule:

FIRST BOOSTERS (9-10 WEEKS OF AGE)

  • FVRCP #1 (Feline Rhinotracheitis Virus, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia)

  • FeLV / FIV Test (optional)

  • Feline Leukemia #1

 

SECOND BOOSTERS (12-13 WEEKS OF AGE) 

  • FVRCP #2 (Feline Rhinotracheitis Virus, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia)

  • Feline Leukemia #2 

  • Rabies 1 year Vaccine

YOUNG ADULT (12-15 MONTHS OF AGE)

  • FVRCP 1 Year (Feline Rhinotracheitis Virus, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia)

  • Feline Leukemia Yearly (if cat goes outside or is around cats that do)

  • Rabies 3 year Vaccine

  • Annual Bloodwork (optional)

YOUNG ADULT (24 months and up)
